Default NY Meet Up?

Hey fellas,

I know this gets kicked around every so often, but I figured I'd give it a shot. How would people feel about getting together in NYC for a few drinks or dinner sometime in the next month or two? Odds are that I will end up having to work, but I'd love to meet some of you guys. Anyone interested?

- Josh

NYC Dinner thread about to happen?

Josh- many times over the years, the NYC crew has gotten together for dinner & drinks. It's been a while, so let's do it soon! I'll warn you, it's not too easy organizing one of these things tho, so good luck! These threads can go on for weeks before a plan is finalized.

Barry should be in charge of putting something together.

I'm pretty sure I actually started a thread about a year ago, and I think the meet up actually happened, but I was stuck in the office.

Does the joint need to have class or just the person who chooses it?
We seem to high brow it sometimes, but what about someplace a little downmarket but fun like Jeremy's or some such?

K town is 32nd between fifth and sixth, although it spills a bit north and south. I think BBQ (Korean style) would be fun.

regardless of exactly where k-town may be, I am interested. I'd be nice to not have to wait for the national to meet fellow board members.

If it is just going to be a small group, we could do something even sooner. Perhaps in the next few weeks. My favorite place in K-town is Shilla, but if we want to have some BBQ and bourbon, maybe we try Hill Country?

Good luck Josh. The Washington, DC area meet-up never got a good turnout.

Alan, I sense that there are some new Net 54 members in the last several months from the DC area. It might be worth another effort to have a DC-area meet-up, perhaps in conjunction with a forthcoming Chantilly Show.
Sorry, I'm really not trying to hijack this thread.
