Default Fake Speeker on e-bay, other Non-existent cards

Posted By: runscott

As you know, this auction was just to prove a point - I followed all of e-bays rules and used only techniques that I have complained to them about unsuccessfully. However, I've been working on computer images of "dream cards" for a while now and this exercise in actually "physicallizing" the image has been a real eye-opener. I realize now how difficult it is for the forgers to create these "reprints" - mine look very weak in comparison, but I now have ideas on how to do this right and might try to create an entire set (maybe 10 or so) with a look and feel more like a real card. The proofs from my first effort are too shiny, too thick, blurry image, etc, but my "overprinting" technique yielded some cool results. If I can create good ones, maybe I'll sneak into drugstores and slip these into Topps T206 boxes (the ghosted Alfred E. Neuman image over a Piedmont back would be popular, I'm sure). What are your "dream cards"? (always an interesting topic).
