Default Bond Bread or Bond Homogenize Bread

While I have always believed that there were two separate issues of Bond Bread cards, Rounded corners 1947 and squared corners 1949. I read this somewhere, that 1949 was the second issue for the cards. But does anyone know where the date for 1949 comes from for the squared corners cards?
To add to my confusion, now there seems that the rounded corners cards were issued in 1947 by Bond Bread as a 48 card set, and the squared cornered were issued in 1947 by Bond Homogenize Bread, in a 24 card set.
Are they the same company? Have I been wrong in believing that the two issues of Bond Bread were 1947 and 1949?
Were they two different sets issued in 1947, one set of 48 cards rounded corners from Bond Bread? And another set of 24 squared corners and printed on thinner stock, (paper) from Bond Homogenize Bread.
Who was issued in each set and is there a checklist for each? And are they different images on the cards?
I will not even get into the 1980s squared cards.

I have linked below a long running thread started by Ted Z. about this subject. I have to admit to not reading it, but it pops up every so often I imagine it will be of interest.

Or they could must look down approximately 8 threads on the front page. One of the other gets you to the same place

I've read that thread started by Ted Z. If you are interested in buying Bond Bread cards it is a MUST read. Very insightful.

follow that link that Brian and Leon have... Ted Z's. That's the best compilation of info I've encountered on those mysteriously similar cards.

It appears that the OP posted on Ted's old thread...that's why it is on the front page. When the Bond Bread thread comes up, I think my brain intentionally skips past it without registering.

Sometimes the best route is circuitous.
