Hi, I just picked up this autographed card and a game used card. Does anyone on the board have any expertise in this area?

I would like to be sure that this was signed by Santa and not one of his elves.

Thanks!
Rick

Reminds me of the time when I convinced my young newphews to leave out nice shiny new official ML balls to be autographed by Santa. My brother wasn't too happy, but the kids traded them for some pretty good stuff on the playground!

These was some talk that Hermie, the elf that wanted to be a dentist, was doing a lot of signing for Santa. Nothing`s for sure, but you have to be careful.

Hmm, I always heard that Mrs. Clause was doing the secretarial sigs. Now Hermie too?

James Spence was shown this at a shopping mall minutes after Santa had signed it and said it was a reproduction. As a result, Santa was fired and replaced by Sal Bando.

That's an autopen. I got burned by that before on ebay. He's much too busy to sign himself, having to check that list twice.

Leon, it may be a Jewish card but Santa's in red -- he's definitely a colored player.

A scan of the card included with the post. Interesting.

Rick,
Looks a little suspect to me! Could have been signed by the Bumble he was trying to make a good impression. Now if you had the Rudoloph signed card numbered to 8 with the hoof print and light up nose now we would be talkin!

Santa used to be a good signer but got tired after all the requests when the 1990 Pro Set Football card came out. You used to get a full legible signature, but now all you can see is "S___ Cl__". So definite fake here.
