Default Anyone know anything about S74 Silk baseball cards?

Hey guys, sorry to bother you with probably a pointless question, but is it rare to find one of these with the writing on top or bottom? or is this just a different issue of silk cards?

Any thoughts or comments would be helpful.

It's the first silk tobacco card I've owned.

Thank you,

Nate

I believe that means the silk did not come with a back. The ones which came backed with the advertisement have no writing on the front. Also, I believe you have a colored silk which is a bit tough than the stock ones, however the backed silks, with backing atatched seem to fetch a premium.

Default Hey Nate

S74 silks come in two varieties--white and colored (one of the "colors" is white or very close to it). Whites are shorter and came with a paper backing that identified the tobacco brand. Coloreds have no backing and are longer so as to identify the brand and factory number. Yours then is a colored--nice one too. Here's another:

Default a few examples

Here are a few examples to help show the differences. These colored ones, on the far right of the screen, have mis-printed (double printed on one side) factory information. S74s are neat "cards" to collect.
