Default 49er Bottle Show...1896 Cambria CA BB Team Photo

Went to the 49er Bottle Show at the Placer County Fairgrounds in Roseville last Fiday...Picked up the 1896 Cambria California Baseball Team photo and the two broadsides below...The green Winchester sign was very cool $6,000.00...above link to bunch of photos on photobucket

Neat stuff....What size is the picture of the 1896 team? It looks like it might be rather large.

Great stuff, Carlton! And of course that Winchester sign wouldn't be perfect if it didn't have bullet holes in it.

Thanks Leon...8 1/2" wide x 6 5/8" tall photo only...pretty interesting...there's baseball way-way on the other side the country from where it started in New York...The town of Cambria overlooks the pacific ocean and is about half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco...

I think that just makes it cooler!!...Actually bullet holes are pretty common in antique signs that were hung outdoors...
