Bill- thank you! Finally found what im passionate about...I like cards but something about vintage photos gets me excited (not literally) lol

Your passion for the photos may be the same passion that I see in these photos. I collect cards too, but my direction has changed to original photos.
I see it as in the cards, you collect the history of the ballplayer, but with the photos, it seems to show us his personality, and his abilities. His contact with other players, fans and family. The photos just brings us closer to the player himself.
To sum it up, photos capture the spirit of the player.

I definintley agree! With cards they made hundreds or thousands of copies but to capture a player in a moment during that period really keeps me interested. Its fascinating to see these players in a action shot to see how it really was back in that era.
