They always use an older guy or a grandfather got a Ruth autograph when these fakes are listed. Or it's been in the family for 80 years. Never fails. Maybe alot of shill bidding going on here. Can't believe the idiot that bought it thinks he got a good deal.

Not only is he a seller of forgeries but his ads are written by the same 10 year old who penned the forgeries:
"You are bidding on a Babe Ruth Autograph. It's being sold for a 89 year old elderly man who has no idea what a computer is. There is no COA Or LOA that will A company this signature Make sure you're a close friend or you do a lot of business with 3rd party authentication before bidding so you're chances are better..thanks."

just by the wording in the description should be a huge red flag that the seller is trying to get out of any liability if a TPA deems it fake.

If you are stupid enough to fall for that you basically deserve to get ripped off. Sorry.

If you look at the bidding history of the other fake Ruth autographs, the same bidders were bidding. I would guess this is a case of shill bidding.

It is a known fact that most grandparents collect forgeries and reprints and most are found in attics. It is sort of like "Once upon a time"....

My first thought is that whoever is bidding on a autograph like this is not a collector per se but someone who is looking for a deal. A real autograph collector knows finding a reak Babe Ruth autograph cheap is unheard of.
