Default Top "Common" & "HOFer" On Your Wantlist

I was curious about everyone's wantlist. And by "wantlist", I mean a card, that if it pops up at a reasonable price, you will jump on it. I am not meaning, a T206 Honus Wagner or Baltimore News Babe Ruth, but rather a card in your sights, which you will buy at a reasonable price.

So, with that in mind, let's list our most wanted "common" & our most wanted "HOFer".

I'll start:

Common: T206 Harry Covaleski in SGC50 or better.

HOFer: T206 Mordecai Brown, Cubs on Shirt in SGC50 or better.

Common appropriate for this board - 21 or 22 Zeenuts Stanage

HOF - low grade T206 Davis, Chesbro or Willis

Common- Any E101 with a stupid back stamp, can be any player or condition, that says Niagara Baking, or D355. Four walked into a coin shop a year or so ago, and they got away, never to be seen again. I was a very-late-to-the-party 500th person seeing those.

HOF- Eventually would like to pick up some obscure Jackson card.....

Default Most Wanted...

Common: 1941 Goudey Bill Crouch, Red or Yellow background
HOF: None. All of the Hall of Famers I'm looking for are out there readily. Money is all that keeps me from pulling the trigger.

common: don't collect them (at least not on purpose! Collected plenty so-called future HOF'ers that turned out to be commons in my era of modern card collecting in the early '90's. Anyone remember Ruben Sierra?)

HOF'er: 1939 R303 Ted Williams (any grade)

Good thread--now if someone just answers my prayer re old Teddy Ballgame!

Best, guys,

Larry
