Default It's 4/20 - Pickups?

Okay. The real question is who will be blazing up and surfing eBay today, seeking some little slept-on gem of a card that no one has snapped up? Sounds way more fun than work, to me.

If you looked outside here today in NYC, you'd want to stay in and watch Cheech and Chong. After 80 and sunny Saturday, today's 50 and rainy is depressing. Spring will be here soon enough, or so I've heard.

Can't go wrong with that pickup. Centered. Image is all there. I'm all about that kind of card.

We can return to the normal April thread tomorrow...

Gray by the water here in LA for the moment. Usually burns off by noon on days like this.

Could not resist the focus on this guy. The centering is very nice; not dead on but real nice. But it's the focus of The Mick that got me. The image is usually so burry on this card. I remember this image well from childhood.

Got this Ted Williams in the mail today thanks to a fellow member. If you are celebrating 420 you wont even notice the very slight centering issue.

Interviewer: Which do you prefer Tug, grass or Astroturf?
Tug McGraw: I don't know. I've never tried Astroturf.

Mailman laced me on 4/20: Last card to complete the Mantle Basic run. Best centering I've been able to find since I began seeking the 66. Pesky card centering wise. Left right it almost always slopes.

Default "looks like i picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue"

ok, couldn't resist the possible "first gentleman" and president that "didn't inhale" card @ $4. much to my delight once I added it to the registry i found out that it's a pop 1, "none higher". of course, there aren't any lower either.

Gonna close out 4/20 with this little guy-- for $7 ya just cannot go wrong! Compared it to the others on eBay and the centering was tops.

Okay-- and this guy. Last one for the day.
