Default Need scans for Home Run Kisses cards for Virtual Library

Posted By: Patrick McMenemy

I'm putting together a virtual library of scans of the E136-3 Home Run Kisses set.

So far, I have only 28 of the 90 cards in the set. If anyone has a scan of a Home Run Kisses card, and can email me a scan, I would greatly appreciate it.

Feel free to email the scans to vintagecatcher@verizon.net.

Thanks,

Patrick

Thats a great looking Heitmueller. I am sure you know all about him, but is one of my favorite pre-war players. College Football star at Cal, amazing baseball player, and died WAY too young. Great Piece!

Thanks Bruce and Brian!

I now have 33 of the 90 player in the set.

Players that I have scans of include: Auer, Bayless, Berry, Boles, Brooks, Brown, Butler, Castleton, Core, Daley, Dillion, Driscoll, Flater, Gregory, Heitmuller, Hiester, Hoffman, Hogan, Howley, Kane, Leard, Lindsay, Lober, McCorry, McIver, Miller, Page, Pernoll, Schmidt, Smith, Stone, Toner, and Tozer.

I have seen enough of the Home Run Kisses to guess that the cards probably were inserted into the candy boxes facing the candy due to the common light staining seen on many of the cards.

Another theory might be that while the kids were admiring their new cards they put their sticky fingers on the face of the cards.

Keep the scans coming!

Thanks,

Patrick

While you've indicated you've got a Gregory, here's a recent BIN of Gregory by me from ebay
