Yes Pete, I'm a Detroit man but I figured get any player and maybe get a trade down the road. I missed Lush a few months ago, someone else on the board won that one.

I guess you guys are talking about the 4 on ebay. The lot of 2 were pretty cheap untill the end. They stayed under $200 for a longtime too, but then shot up to $300

You, me and probabley many other board members here watched that 5 day auction with great interest. It looks like, and there`s not many offered to judge, that even cards that would grade Poor will be untouchable for many collectors. There`s something about this set, not that it`s so scarce, that seems to draw collectors to it. The Evil Siren!!!!!

I am sure that a big part of the lure of this set is that it is the transitional set from 19c cards to the tobacco/caramel era cards. It also doesn't hurt that most of the portraits are well done and even reused in the m116 and other sets. This is also the reason I put a cutoff date of 1908 for my player set as there 54 players that appear in this set and no other. It would be impossible for me to get them all.

I've just reached Upper Lower Class. I am now officially a babe magnet for poor chicks.

I logged on and did an 'e107' search and found there was only one minute left on one and a little longer on the others. I didn't have enough time to bid on Thoney. When I went to the "completed auctions", it says Thoney sold for $250 and Kitterdige for $321 but when I click on those cards, the final numbers are different, twice that. ????

Oh well, looks like there are still plenty of e107's on eBay at this moment:

MATTHEW McCOUNAGHEY HOT & SEXY 8X10 PHOTO E107 (they ain't kidding! hunky!)
1981-82 TOPPS CEDRIC MAXWELL #E107 CELTICS EXMT
5 x 7 photo TONY ATLAS E107
HUGE BOOBS, ELIZABETH STARR 8X12 CANDID PHOTO E107 (they ain't kidding! huge!)

The two with paper loss on the reverse sold for over 500. One had writing on the card as well. The lot of two sold for over 300. One of the cards was torn in half
