Why is his autograph so expensive? I am trying to complete signed cards or cuts for Murders Rox 1927. I thought I might find something for $50 like I did for Meusel, Combs and Koenig. Nope....

Cost is high because he died at age 42. Supply and demand.

I sold a Lazzeri signed album page on the BST late last year for $500:

Any cut signature in the $50 range you find will undoubtedly be fake.

100%!! Take this advice to heart and don't think you're simply "getting a deal"...

My advice is to wait for a Lazzeri check to become available. They look great and are almost always signed Anthony Lazzeri. They'll cost more than a cut or single signed album page but will be worth it just for display value. They are not common but do become available a few times a year.
