Default Junk basketball ready to be burned--any reason not to?

My co-worker knows I am into baseball cards and just asked me about his 1990s basketball cards. I told him aside from Jordan, they are basically worthless. So he is going to throw them away.

I am not an expert in this era. Is there anything else I should tell him to look for before they hit the landfill?

Thank you.

I am not knowledgeable when it comes to basketball, but I would recommend looking at ebay sold items. It gives you a quick snap shot.

In this search I did a search for any year between 1987 and 1998 ('90's' usually seems loosly defined by these years in sports cards) and filtered out Jordan (since you already mentioned him).

This showed there may be some items worth looking into...

Wow, thank you. You are an Ebay search wizard -- and I learned how to do that going forward from your post. Thank you.

I actually LOVE basketball cards from the 1990's. Value? Meh.... But they are awesome!
