Default Jack or John Knight

Seems to me all the cards in the time frame from 1905 to 1913 with the last name Knight should be John....

Why is it all the grading companies have him as Jack? Except for BVG they do seem to list him properly.

Jack Knight played 1922-1927 and is on mostly Zeenut cards

Just wondering is there a reason for this?

Jack is a common nickname for John, never understood why, so I imagine it's no big deal and not an actual "mistake" I am pretty sure his T205 refers to him as Jack no?

Default John knight 1885-1965

The Jack knight who is on the Zeenut cards is the jack knight from t206. He had a long minor league career after his stint in the majors. The other jack who played from 1922-27 was mostly in Texas leagues with a short ml look-see.
