Default Larry: Lets see your articles on Corcoran, and the 1887 Pitsburgh Allegheny team

Posted By: Julie

Even for those who have heard of neither, it's your research and (hopegully) some illustrations that will make the articles interesting. ANYTHING on early baseball is inherently interesting if it's written and researched carefully. And VCBC will give them a fairly broad audience, or at least a pretty deep one!

We need 9 more expressions of interest, so RESPOND.

And if Mr. Betz himself replies, it's automatic no matter who else does or does not vote. Turning down the editor\publisher is akin to turning down the Godfather - you'll never publish in this town again!

Here's my vote. Always eager to read 19th century articles, especially from the Old Judge time.

I think that's 4 that I've seen...

There have been 8 postive responses so far. I hadn't planned on you creating a thread. John claims Elliott voted negatively, but I didn't see that response and I think John is just telling a little fib trying to weasel out of a homework assignment.

John is sure going to be pleasantly surprised when he returns home from work tonight and sees all the effort you, his new press agent, are putting behind the campaign. Maybe you could get Don Betz to float him an advance against royalties!

Geez, Julie, if you were working as hard for Howard Dean as you are for John, Dean would probably still be in the presidential race!
