Default Wagner boxing

Does anyone know if the guy that Wagner is punching is a famous boxer? Thought I once heard that he was and would like to be able to id him. Thanks!

Looks same size as Wagner (heavyweight), fought during same era, and was a popular fighter ........................

That doesn't look like him to me but I'll throw another one out there.
Jimmy Slattery was fighting in the late 20s. I don't know when this postcard is from and if that timeframe would even work.

No idea, but Tom Sharkey was the first that popped to mind.

Can't be Slattery. Doesn't look like Flynn to me. Too early for Jack Dempsey II, Too late for "Non-Pareil" Jack Dempsey.

I'm not good at this game but how about wrestler Frank Gotch? Both he and Wagner were 5' 11', and the eyebrows sure match, but I'll leave it to the experts.

Is it me or does that look like Johnny Evers...I know that Wagner and Evers battled on the field often...also the train car does say they are heading towards Chicago...just my opinion.
