Default 1920's Spalding kid's glove

Posted By: dynarl

I picked up an old Spalding 1" web glove that is a kids glove. The problem is someone has written his name on it with ink. Does anyone know how to remove the ink safely? Thanks! D.

I've tried paroxide with mixed results.

Should I leave the name on the glove or try taking a chance and removing it? broughman@comcast.net

I have used vaseline with decent results. I gently massage it in and it really does diminish/lessen the visibility of the ink. Takes lots of patience though, and might not remove the ink completely. I don't think you can harm the glove with vaseline, and it may be worth a try for your glove.
