Default Leland's Update

Posted By: TBob

Since a lot of people have posted negatively about Leland's auctions, I wanted to post my experience. I won a lot containing an E95 Wagner which was SGC 30 and woefully undergraded. The card has one light and tiny corner wrinkle and the corners are only slightly rounded. the back is perfect and the front colors and registry are right on. Should be an SGC50 or 40 at the least, so that one is fine. The E95 Plank has the right measurements, no creases, great color. Nice card which will go up on ebay, as will the Wagner. The red E98 Cobb also has the correct measurements. The scan gave me some worries but the borders are full and large as they should be on E98s. The ad mentioned markings on the back but they are very light pencil marks which may be removeable. The paper damage on the back mentioned is extremely tiny. This one will stay in my collection next to the blue one.
The cards were very well packaged and arrived in a timely manner. I have no gripes.

That's great Bob. Maybe that means I get my stuff today.

p.s. I think I speak for most on the board, when I say it's nice to see Bob reunited with his T. It's like Liz and Richard Burton: it's hard to beleive they were ever apart.

I think it follows that if a company is ignorant, careless and out for a buck, they will occasionally do real good by you. Occasionally.
