Default Help on the unknown auto

Can someone tell me who this auto is in blue ink? It looks like a 10 year old child autographed the bb. It is autographed on a HOF and star baseball. Thanks - Tony

Whitey Witt played 1916-26 member of 1920's Yankees teams

Looks similar to mine although more squished (trying to fit in smaller room on the ball) I'd guess it is likely an authentic later in life signature. Maybe was signed after rest of players on ball perhaps?

I see Bill Terry above it. He came to the NY Gianrs in 1923, so the timeframe kind of fits.

But you also have Ford Frick, who didn’t become the Commish until 1934, so I might guess the owner of the ball got signatures at Cooperstown over multiple years.

Great - thanks. Yes, the ball came from the HOF in Cooperstown.
