Looking forward to it! We will have our usual smattering of everything for sale, including prewar. We will also have some of our current auction on display. If there's anything in the auction you would like to see let us know and we'll bring it along!

Default Philly Show

Looking forward to seeing some of you this weekend at the Show in Oaks, PA.

I will be set up at booth # 209 with my usual eclectic stock of cards (1888 - 1978).

And of course, a good number of T206's....including an assortment of rare backs.

So, stop by and see me this weekend. Conversations are free, and we can spend hours talking T206's.....or whatever.

Any updates from the show? I'm heading out in a few minutes, if anyone wants to say hi, I'll be wearing a blue "rock the river" t-shirt.

I was surprised that PSA had no lines yesterday. Too bad I didn't bring anything to drop off. Oh well.

I was surprised and the fact the show was not that crowded but did notice lines for the autos. I was there from 11:30-2:30-ish and didn’t see much traffic compared to other Philly shows.

From a buyer's perspective, I think this one was one of the better ones. I have attended many of the Philly shows over the years.

The aisles were pretty crowded so I hope it helped the dealers.

I prefer the Oaks venue over the Valley Forge venue since I am not a fan of casinos.

I didn't realize the Hall B had its own parking lot. So, if you plan on buying a lot of stuff, make sure that you don't park at Hall A like I did. Otherwise, you will be taking a small hike.

Thanks to Toby, Ellis and Dave(Baggers) for the great cards.

Default Enjoyable ,

Awesome to have no lines at the grading companies for a change.

Nice venue, with no skanky casino to avoid

No Leon this year, which made it a little less fun.

Almost everything I bought was from William Chappelle- sure glad he was there.

Had a great time with my buddy Mike Peich!

Default Thank You !

Despite our 3rd different location in the past 12 months the show was a success ! The vintage card and modern card markets are alive and well.

The crowds were solid all weekend long, our attendance numbers exceeded our December 2017 show. The Oaks Hall B location was 20,000 square feet larger than our event at the VF Casino which allowed us to widen the isles by 3 to 4 feet as well as convert most booths into 4 booth corner quads ( similar to the National) Thank You Net54 members for coming out and supporting the show !

I would also like to give everyone advanced notice that we will be back at The Valley Forge Casino for our next show which will be March 1-3, 2019. I hope to see you all there.

Thank You !

Joe-

I watched the Vintage Breaks live broadcasts when they opened vintage packs with Tony Dorsett and Pete Rose. Rose was just throwing the cards around and Leighton was trying to keep his composure because people spent probably $100 for each offcentered common that came out...

LOL, I would have liked to see my friend Leighton dealing with that.

This is a show I plan on setting up at again too. Good times.

For anyone interested. You can cut to 11:45 of the video and watch about 30 seconds and really get a great laugh. Ole Pete Rose is man handling some cards out of packs and Leighton (hey Leighton) is a bit tense. I just watched it a second time and tears are coming down my face I am laughing so hard (same as the first time) . But then I know Leighton fairly well so can eventually laugh with him about it. Great stuff.

Default Philly Show

Thanks Joe

T'was a really good show for me. Besides selling a lot of T206's, the highlights of this show for me were...…

Talking with a good number of Net54 guys.

Had a great conversation with Denny McClain.

And, picked up this AMERICAN BEAUTY for my collection.
