Default Quick check - 1960 PSA 6 Mantle vs SGC 7 Mantle

Still working through consolidating/optimizing my 1960 set. Down to about 8 cards, but soliciting input from you guys. The 1960 SCG 7 Mantle vs the 1960 PSA 6 Mantle. Hand inspection: the 6 could be a 6.5 and the 7 should be a 6.
Opinions invited and thanks.

Default Mantle

nfswsteve- The caveat is both PSA/SGC are being unreasonably harsh with
vintage grades currently. I disagree with you, think the SGC 7 has much better
centering and a nicer reverse (the PSA reverse top is tilted and SGC reverse
is beautiful). The good news is you beat my clean PSA 5 example of this card
either way Trent King

The psa 6 looks centered nicely with a good surface. The sgc 7 however has better registration.

I personally would choose the 7 as I'm a huge fan of image clarity. But I think this will be a very split opinion. Both are great choices.

I like the PSA 6 better. The SGC has a tilt, front and back, and has more print blemishes. The SGC is centered better, however.

I would go with the PSA Mantle. The centering is fine for my collecting needs plus the blemishes on the SGC card bother me. The PSA Mantle is reasonably graded, but I would grade the SGC version no better than a 5.5 due to its flaws. I am tough, especially regarding my own cards.

I wouldn’t want to deal with a collector who valued my opinion.

I am actively buying and selling vintage sports cards graded and raw. Feedback as a buyer: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=297262

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.

I'd keep the PSA 6. The way that SGC is cut would always bother me.
