Default Erskine Okay

Hi, All:
I received this as a gift from my wife for Christmas; she told me that she could not be sure that it was authentic but the seller vouched for it; of course, I bow to the expertise and prowess of the forum. You guys think it is a real Carl Erskine?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Well, if he spelled his name that way, then it is clearly not authentic. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

I have corrected my spelling; sorry for the oversight and mistake on my part and for pointing that out. Thanks for the comment. Any other help?

Could there actually be a forged Erskine intentionally done for harm? Erskine seems to be a very gracious signer, in the mold of Feller and Doerr, but with a lesser celebrated career.

I personally love that guys like these have autographs so easy to find and reasonably obtained.

My parents, diehard Dodgers fans who refused to ever attend another baseball game after they fled town following the 1957 season, loved 'Oisk.'

I've got a '56T he signed in person 40+ years ago at an Old Timers game at the Murph. Just pulled it out. It's a twin to yours!
