Default 1955 Bowman Baseball SET BREAK, Roger Maris ROOKIE PSA 8, DIRT CHEAP!

I have these up on Ebay! The bidders just aren't there. 1955 Bowman baseball PSA 8's can't even get a 99 cent opening bid!! What happened to all the bidders on Ebay!?!?!?!?

Nobody shows their hand early on Ebay anymore. I run auctions every week and probably 80-90% of all bids come in on the last day, most of them in the last few hours.

Makes it hard to gauge interest but that's just the way it is nowadays.

Yea...but in the case of the Roger Maris rookie...it is gut wrenching when the VCP average is $700, and your card is $300 below that with only 5 hours to go.........with Ebay raising fees the end of the month, I am not sure it is profitable to sell there anymore.....

Default Maris

That is why you should always try to sell it on the B/S/T before you stick it on Ebay! If you put a reasonable price on the card it will sell here! Hope that helps you out.

Default No offense to your Maris

but it is o/c for a PSA 8. VCP avg. is just that an avg. Some sell lower, some higher...

FWIW, I've been looking for a high-grade Maris rookie but passed on this one because of centering issues. My guess is that's what attributed to the selling price.

I'm also surprised you're still selling on eBay given how you've previously expressed your dissatisfaction here. Good luck with whatever route you go in the future.
