Dan, obviously the $3000 was not an accurate measure of the price, but I don't know that $700 is entirely accurate either. The reason this one went for that price is there is damage on several of the cards, ie creased legs(possibly broken), missing bat, etc.

These are not easy to find, but not rare by any means. There are some in the set that are much tougher to find in nice shape, usually the ones that have some sort of appendage or extension that "stands alone" such as a hand, ball, arm, bat, etc.--wheras the Philly and Indy ones are frequently found in nice shape due to the compact nature of the poses.
