Default Slab only no grade

Posted By: BRIAN

I do not wish to restart the debate on grading cards again, but I would like to pass something along. For those of you who would like your cards slabbed, but not graded, Card Collectors Services offers this service for 5.00 a card. I don't think they will authenticate, but slab or grade if desired. I know absolutely nothing about the company, but they seem to be the only ones offering this service.
be well brian

I think you are mising the point. The goal isn't to have a card in a holder.

A card in a holder labeled "authentic" would(should) mean something. Not just be a card in a holder, that's silly. If they don't even authenticate they are a waste of time.

Save $4 per card and buy a screw-down. Sounds like you would be accomplishing the same as using Card Collectors Services.

Pete, I understand your point completely. I realize that authentication is what alot of people want, but I have also read responses from people who simply wanted cards slabbed for protection. I wouldn't want the service , but some people like the option. I was merely providing information, I was not entering the debate on authentication.
thanks brian

I mis-read the intention of your post.

I don't understand why anyone would pay a service just to put cards in any kind of holder.
