Default R315 Yellow Variations

Changing things up and posting a question seeking information about a Pre-war set.

Was looking into this set on Old Cardboard. It shows their are 4 different styles of fronts. They categorize them as A,B,C, and D. It also mentions that there are also variations printed on yellow card stock. In looking at completed Ebay sales and current listings I am only finding yellow variations with the B style front. Player and team name in a box with position, city, and league in the bottom border.

Is that the only style front these are found with or does anyone have one with a different style front?

Don't know the answer but when I was collecting types I saw very few of the yellow R315s. Maybe a coincidence not to see them too often but that is all I know . And a few R315s from my previous collection...

Thank you for the reply Leon. Your yellow Hornsby is a B type front as well so seems possible that the yellows are only found with that front variation.

I have never seen one of the yellow variations in hand. The yellow smudging on the back of yours is interesting. Do you recall from when you owned it if that was wet sheet transfer of some sort?

I'd be lying if I said I was sure but I think it was just bleed from the front....but it could have been from another card too ....Good luck in the quest.
