Default My First T-206 Christy Mathewson

Hi Guys.

I'm usually on the other side doing my autograph thing, but just recently I decided that I wanted to own three T-206 cards:

Christy Mathewson, Walter Johnson and Ty Cobb.

I just picked up my first one; a Christy Mathewson.

It's in poor condition (an understatement), but I love it!!!!

Way to go, guy--reminds me of how I felt when I purchased my Pinkerton 1913-1915 Mathewson at the recent National in Chicago. Something told me not to leave without it. It was my first Mathewson also.

May collecting fill you with joy,

Larry

Chris sometimes cards such as yours looks better than high grade. It shows character, patina, a long journey to wind up in your collection !

Cherish it ! And don't think because it isn't a PSA 9 it's not a great card.
