Default psa holder question

why do some of the psa holders have this wavy plastic look inside of them? The wavy plastic looking part is around the card.

That's the insert inside of the PSA card. Sometimes the vacuum seal isn't done well, so the insert looks wavy instead of straight flush.

I might be wrong, but it seems like that wavy plastic sheet is found more on non-standard size cards like strip cards and a lot of the E cards from the 20's. For T206's, the older slabs for American Beauties have it too as they are narrower than the other backs. BTW...I think they look terrible.

I have to agree that it looks bad. It would be nice to have something that looked better.

Yes very distracting. You would think PSA would reject the poor quality holders unless they make them themselves?
