No problem...if it was just a plain old non-animated 1934 Goudey Gehrig I would instead embrace it with open arms.

Is it just me, or do all of these animated players look very confused and like they are thinking "uh, can somebody let me out of here?"

Haha, yes...most of them look quite confused. Although I think Bo Jackson looks pretty confident in his!

That one would be cool IF they would show the whole image. Unfortunately they shrink them up to just the face area.

I don't think so. That's a great card, but the problem is that the software automatically zooms in to the face on the card. So I don't think you would even see the snake (or the Philly Fanatic).

I agree that most of them are pretty weird. And that 1934 Goudey Gehrig haunts my dreams.

But I think the Bo Jackson and Jackie Robinson cards posted earlier actually turned out pretty cool.

I think the Plank turned out amazingly well. Much more realistic than the WaJo portrait.

Plank - "I got a per card deal, but haven't gotten a check yet"
Johnson- "that's why you always go for the up front money"

It's as if these photos are waking up after a VERY long slumber and are trying to re-orient themselves to the world. Learning to use their eyes and mouth again after just sleeping for however may decades.

Not Hubbard, but maybe Jake the Snake would do.
