Default OT: The Art of Fielding

I know this belongs elsewhere, but I think this deserves a wider audience. I just finished The Art of Fielding, a 500 page book written by first time novelist Chad Harbach. It is a baseball book, but it is also much bigger than that simple description. I got through it in a weekend, and truly enjoyed it. It is a wonderful read.

I'm about half way through it right now. It is surprisingly well written; that is the first half is, anyway. Seems to be a novel with a baseball thread in it; not to be confused with a baseball story that's dressed up at an attempt to be a novel.
