Babe Ruth 1948
Hi guys,
I was wondering if you folks would take a look at this Ruth signature. My dad has had it since 1948. I know its not a recent forgery or anything but I understand some of these postcards were signed by someone else back in the day. I'd rather not have to pay the 200.00$ to try and get authenticated if its likely not real. I know the other writing and tape probably kill the value anyways. thanks Mike

It looks good to me. Nice item and even nicer that it came from your father. You could check in with a conservator to see about attempting to remove the tape with damaging the signature. Maybe even someone on here has had similar success. Jason

It's good. Ruth used to send these photos--authentically signed--to satisfy TTM requests.
