I was the runner up but got outsniped. I was worried about the extreme diamond cut. Any thoughts?

What would happen if you had put in a big serious bid in the first 12 hours?

If CarolinaBrights, the winner, had put in a $2,000 bid on the first day, you'd not have been outsniped, he'd have still won the card.

The cut is a concern, it is a nice collectible card, though.

Scarcer K-Bat, ad back, probably worth at least twice what it went for.

Hi Jon,
I sniped at the end, and was hoping that no ones else would. I'm not unhappy with the price, but sorry to beat out another Board 54 collector.
But, that seems tough to do on these. I thought JC would probably outsnipe me, but I guess he has enough KB's...

Be well Brian

I also think it went low. Should have been graded.

The Bubble Boy is great- but we went out for an early dinner, so I only saw half of it. Nice score on the Kalamazoo Bats!

Brian - no hard feelings. I actually spoke to Barry before bidding to try and get an idea of what I should bid at. I was originally going to be more aggressive at first (not much more - maybe $500) but I heard about a nice graded one coming up for auction soon

Thanks Jon- but you know the old saying: a bird in the hand... anyway, I hope mine does a lot better than that one. We shall see.

Nice score on the K-bat. I'm sure the final hammer would have been a little more if the seller had placed this in the BB Card categorey. I'd be grinning ear to ear if I had picked up that card at that price.
