Hey everyone,

Just recently joined the thread. I have primarily been collecting '33 Goudey but all the old stuff is good stuff. Still in school so card>condition.

Welcome! I spent many years collecting as a (relatively) penniless student, and those days shaped my collecting habits to this day. As you've no doubt discovered, you can get some pretty good deals on 1933 Goudeys if you're willing to buy raw cards and care more about eye appeal than technical grades.

Welcome. Collecting on a budget is fun. That said if you ever get more discretionary funds it can be a bit more fun. 1933 Goudeys are a great set. Happy collecting!!

Welcome to the site. I joined not too long ago and didn't have a single vintage card. Now that's the extent of my collection as I've sold all of my modern stuff.

I, like you, am working with a small budge (about $40 per week is my "card allowance") because I'm paying for college loans. But I've been able to build a nice collection through picking up lots here and there and then trading some of those, although trading for me around here has been VERY slow.

But welcome and good luck with your collection. It's a great place.

Welcome aboard! I'm a budget collector too and feel like I have a nice collection at this point. At least I really like it.
