Default Anyone going to the CSA card show in Chantilly, VA this weekend?

I'm planning on going Friday afternoon, but not sure what to expect. One dealer told me I'll find a lot of vintage dealers. Another one told me to expect one or two tables of some beater T206's with EX price tags and a lot of shiny Derick Jeters covered in plastic and foil. Trying to get an idea of what to expect...

I will be there Friday. I picked up about 20 T206s...perfectly happy with the deals. My best find was a Three Finger Brown portrait. One of the best shows you'll attend. If you are an experienced shopper, about four of five hours will be fine. Good time, though.

I'll be there on Friday, as always (it helps to live less than 5 miles away!). I would guess that there is not quite as much vintage as at either of the two current Philly shows, but there will certainly be a lot more than just "some beater T206's." FYI, in the last few years, I have acquired an E222 AWH Caramel, an N403 Yum Yum, and a T217 Mono among other cards for my collection at the Chantilly Show.

Default Table #216

Hoping to see some Net54ers in attendance this weekend. I'll be set up at table 216 so stop by and say hello. Pretty much my entire table will be pre-war cards.

And yes, there will be a lot more vintage than a few beater T206s.

I'm told that Hank Thomas will be there with his usual assortment of wonderful odd old memorabilia, including some one-of-a-kind small photos from the Walter Johnson scrapbooks.

I was at the show this afternoon and met up with a number of N54ers. My best pick ups were three T216s I needed.

Default Back from the show

Just got back from attending the first day of the show. Overall it was pretty good. I picked up 6 T206s, 5 from fellow net54 member Ken Cohen.

Ken - It was great meeting you and thanks for the cards!

Also just got back from all afternoon at the show. It was a lot of fun, as usual. Foot traffic seemed a little on the light side, though.

Went yesterday (at Marshall University for Homecoming today...lots of driving) and picked up about 8 T206s for my set...nothing super duper. Had fun, saw a lot of friends.
