Default 2002 Fleer Traditions with wrong name on backs.

I had asked about these around six years ago but there was only one
member that said they had seen them before. He said he had a few
that he had pulled from packs including one with Griffey on the back
but he didn't post any scans.

I still haven't heard anyone else mention these and I haven't seen
any come up for sale. I was hoping someone might have some
information about them.

Interesting that the shadows of the cards are correct. Maybe they were accidentally run through the machines with the other sheet fronts?
Don't see any of the wrong back cards have ever been listed on COMC.

Interesting that only the top name/bio portion is wrong. The stats are correct and the card number didn't change. It's as if the wrong data was programmed into a computer, except I don't know if that is how the text was set up for printing.

Here's one with the blue text offset.

And this explains the solution perfectly. These are not wrong backs, they're printing process errors. Those shown have the wrong blue print run from a sheet placement error by the printer. The shadows in the lettering of the error cards show that the correct name lies under the blue run.

Yeah, cyan color pass error instead of wrong back. Since the card number was made on the black pass, that's why they all have the correct numbers/images/stats.

That's what Steve B said was the cause in my original post. You
can see the right names underneath the errors and the Hermanson has
G, AB, R ect... instead of W, L, PCT ect... in the stats on the error card.

I'm trying to find some more of these to see if there are any of the same
player or if it was a one sheet error. I haven't found a 2002 Tradition baseball uncut sheet
but a 2002 football sheet I found had 100 cards and a 2003/4 basketball
sheet had 79 cards.

Default 2002 Tradition

Kip Wells front Griffey back. I pulled 10 of the back front differences and the one with no blue on back. . Sent a message to Fleer when I first pulled them and they said send them back for replacement . I didn't and glad I kept them.
