Default Does anyone know ben in real world

does anyone know the omnipresent 'Ben' in the "real world" ?

he is of interest to me. -- it seems like he has a loyal congregation; but no one knows who he really is --and no one has met him !?

wouldn't really care about him but he attacks us regularly then also just sent us a PM saying we attack people on here -- so what if we came to defend ourselves isn't that allowed?? also noteworthy = 11+ of his buddies don't like us and have all messaged him to let him this fact. its sad, really -- 'Ben' has told us we are con-men. He wont respond to us or speak -

has anyone ever spoken to Ben --?

we come in peace just looking to have a transparent environment for all

we are happy to be a part of the NET54 forum and we are on the verge of our first deal on here ! --will post the results and our heavy-duty trade partner will do the same --

here to #1 have fun #2 buy cards #3 sell a few

I don't understand the purpose of this thread considering this question was already asked, responded to by BNorth, and in turn responded to by you again Sunday evening.

Agreed. Why does it matter if he has not met anyone in person? Does that make his comments about your dealings any more/less valid?

Ps: I have never met "the other Ben" for the record.

I could be wrong, but probably not. I just have a funny feeling with this Topps-aholic member. His recent posts, his use of the word "we' and "us", his calling out other members, etc. Just throwing that out there....

Like other forums I've been on less classy then this one, perhaps Leon needs to implement a "Smacktalk" section, so the members here can take out their frustrations on one another outside of the Main area of the site.

I've met Ben Linus. He was born on the island and has spent more time here than anyone. However, don't be fooled by his appearance. He's calculating and diabolical. He once convinced me that I was talking to an omnipotent force named Jacob, but it turned out I was only speaking to an empty chair. Somehow he remains a candidate.

I have not met Ben but I will say this. Ben won a lot of cards, one of which I liked. We messaged and he sent me the card, for nothing, and asking nothing in return.

Yes, the OP has come onto this forum with a lot of chest pounding, finger pointing and smack talk and that certainly never ends well on here.

I've never met Ben in "real life." I've never met any of you except Ted, Leon and Chris B. I don't know why that should matter. I have corresponded with Ben for a couple years now, and consider him a friend. The same goes for many others that I have "met" on this site but not in real life.

If Toppsaholic wants to get along on this board, consider stopping the personal attacks and stick to talking and selling cards. In time you will show yourself to be a valuable member of the Net 54 community. Or then again, maybe you won't. But coming on here with complaints, criticism and vaguely threatening PMs will certainly not help. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, and I think so are most of us, so I suggest that you stop worrying about Ben, or at least limit yourself to PMs.

Oh yeah, and the next time you start a thread, maybe post a card. That's what most of us come here to see.

Appreciate the response Sean thank you -- I am asking just because Ben seems to be a real detractor of mine so I am asking. its allowed and I'm just curious is all --- Everyone on here uses their real last name, correct ? Reminder there is zero tolerance on fake last names here

I've never met anyone in person yet from the board but I've dealt with many and like to think that we are all friends on here until there's a reason not to be. A few of the T206 collectors I like to think of as online family.

Sometimes in real life, certain people just can't get along. It's the same thing online in this case. Not a big deal unless someone makes it a big deal. As always, happy collecting to everyone, including my T206 family.

I should be able to know who my 'accuser' is right ? all real names must be used here, right ?
so shouldn't I be able to ask who is ben north ?

the truth can always be questioned --- 30+ responses to this thread NOT ONE person knows him

I'm sure hes a good guy just seems odd no one knows him at all ---all the big players come to Chicago etc right? why never come to a show Ben ?

PLEASE re-consider and do business with us OLDJUDGE please please !?

So are you accusing Ben North of not being Ben North and Leon not catching a fake name?

Defaming: are you saying ben's remarkes about you are false?
