Picked up 2 more of these this weekend, bring the grand total to 12. This is my Grandmother's Uncle, so I have made it my goal that whenever I can grab one, I do. Keep Uncle Vic's legend alive in the family.

Like the Burrell from the OP this one has that great 'fairgrounds' backdrop.

I have about thirty 1909 Obaks including the ten horizontals. I keep dreaming that I will make a run at the set but so far haven't taken up the challenge. I have a smattering of 1910s and '11s including a nice Buck Weaver. I put together all the Vancouver and Victoria cards a few years back because of my associations with the area. The Van/Vics can be seen at this link: https://tinyurl.com/yxj5k2l6 pw = Net54

Why not post some more Obaks? In this one besides a bunch more pretties you have a 'FSF' stamp, a few 1909 bunters, and a color variation.

Just decided to get back into these, this is my first one. How many cards in your collection can you say have a windmill and pink sky in the background? LOL.

Default Beautiful cards

Hey, I'm glad to see some love for Obaks. I am down to needing only three 1909 players to complete the three base sets. (Baum, Reidy, and Ryan, if anybody has one lying around.)

A few of my 1909s:

I know that I move around in focus like a squirrel with a new shiny thing, but I think I love the OBAKS as much or more than any other Prewar card set.

https://familytoad.weebly.com/obak-gallery.html

I don’t have the scans stored where I can post directly from my iPad but the gallery above are my graded examples.

I have a 100 low grade raw examples too that I need to capture digitally.

What a fun, beautiful set

Here’s my 1910 set. Slots with names on paper represent graded cards. I finished this set about ten years ago.

Seeing all of these in this thread makes me want to go acquire one or some!
Here are some from my last collection and some of these came from a very originally collected collection (Trucker Boy cards, I believe). Several are really hand cut....
