Default Earl Averill R315: Need help with year issued

Hi, I'm trying to figure out if this was a 1928 issue or 1929-30. Any help would be appreciated.

Originally documented as 1928 now revised to 1929-30. I have not done any independent research on that issue so I don't know why, probably team changes that took place after 1928 and the new team name(s) are listed on various cards from the set. As far as Averill, still his first Major League card, I believe.

Thank-you for the info. Had a feeling it was a 1929, but with cards graded as a 1928 I was a little unsure.

Nice job, Todd.

Hopefully in the near future, Bob will update a few more of the pre-war sets in the SCBC that are known to have incorrect dates as has been discussed in various threads on the board here over the past year or two.
