Default Is there any hope? help guys?

Guys, I just got a near set of Bruins Sherriff Hockey coins, but they had been glued into the plastic shield. Upon removal, they all have a piece of the shield stuck, seemingly w the glue, on back, as seen.

Anyone have an idea on how I MIGHT be able to get the stuff off? Would make em easier to sell. Got em cheap and they aren't that valuable, but can't fault a guy for trying.

THANKS for any ideas

Default shirriff coins

Blow torch or heat gun may help...

Why wouldnt you just sell it as is to someone who would complete the shield? (no disrespect), but it seems that there aren't any big dollar coins in this set that would warrant extraction...

Best
Dave

Well, I didn't know they were glued in, cause even tho the shield was missing some pieces, woulda been smart to leave it. Guess I'm stuck..oh well.

I have tried several remedies for glue on Shirriff coins......mostly I inflicted the damage myself as a kid when I stuck them in a scrap book, using LePage's as I recall. Your quote is right on....you are "stuck" with it. Sell 'em as is.........they won't be going to PSA.

This may sound crazy but have you tried freezing them? depending on the type of glue that was used once frozen they may pry apart.
