Great topic. I've always thought about a points system based on how rare a card is or how rare the back is etc. A system full of multipliers. Endless possibilities. Cobb Green vs. Red, Polar Bear vs. Lenox, VG vs. EX. Bonus points for Wagner, Plank etc. SLers - OM vs. Piedmont. I wish I had the time to develop a program to do this - I once had the time... I've seen websites and spreadsheets that kinda do this.
Based on the OP's topic - I'm at about 480... Just a bunch of 1 pointers...

John, you should get that Plank put in a PSA holder - whoever currently owns the Wagner would probably pay good money for it as a companion piece with similar history.

I'm at 15 without very much effort. All graded, mostly commons except Mordecai Brown and Hal Chase. Can't focus completely until I finish my 52 graded set! Here's the Brown...

Default Update me please:

I'm at 13 now.

All of mine are either graded or being graded and the lowest grades I own are SGC 40 and PSA 4.5

Since I really don't want lower grade cards, I know I will never complete the monster.

It is still impressive to me, however, to see how many folks have gotten close. I guess it's kind of like the perfect-game or unassisted triple play of collecting.

Frank- Please update my number to 23 - the last one is still in transit.

I still say it is not my intention to complete the set, just going after the ones that appeal to me, adhere to my standards, and can be purchased at what I feel is a reasonable price.

#23- is Mr. MLB Mud himself, Lena Blackburne
