Default Uncataloged Police Gazette Cabinet

Posted By: Bob Lemke

I wanted to share the first addition to the Police Gazette Cabinets checklist that has come our way in several years. Actually, I bought this card 10+ years ago, with neither buyer nor seller realizing it was a ballplayer. In cleaning off my desktop recently, the connection between "Billy" Terry and "Adonis" Terry just clicked. The mount is a dark blue.

"Perhaps you should clear your desk more often than 1x every 10 years"

Nonsense--now you're just creating busywork.

Thats gotta be a GREAT feeling. A "find" that you already own.

I remember going through the cards which survived my youth - "Oh, so that is his rookie card" happened just the right amount of time.

But none were Billy Terry, (Im not as old as TRex).

So that's where the great finds come from. The rubble on the top of Bob's desk. Dig deeper, you may find Jimmie Hoffa.
