Default Doug...You really are a great guy!

Congrats to Doug Allen and crew with the successful Legendary auction! My guess is 3 million in sales. What a GREAT auction.

Is it true that Doug is going to have some game-used Mickey Cochrane jerseys in the next auction? I mean really game-used, not fake ones?

The auction may have been fine but the intent of this thread is stupid. It should be deleted.

It wasn't meant as any sort of congratulations. It was meant to bait one board member.

If we're allowed to do that... well... sign me up for one particular, NYC consortium.

Default There once was an old woman who lived in a shoe...

and she thought Doug was a great guy too...
She used to sit up late on auction night clicking her mouse...
days later waiting for Mastro tape to arrive at her house...

(feel free to continue the story...)

It is my great honor to be victimized by the Great Guy who started this thread. I didn't lose any money and I spared the rest of you: that's called a win-win situation.

I don't think so, Jason. All my attempts at verse seem to end up rhyming with "Nantucket."

That might depend upon what your definition of "reserve" is.

(It did fall in the range of their estimates.)
