Default Just because I needed it...

Big big thanks to TBob for sending over his extra C46 B.Holmes...SGC graded too which saves me an extra step.
And why, well because I needed it and he had it...that's the true collecting spirit!
Thanks Bob, so greatly appreciated!

I know the feeling Brian.

Clayton sent me a T206 with a Polar Bear back just because he knew I was building a Polar Bear set. It was a cool move from a standup guy I've never met.

Nice to know that there are still some "collectors" out there and that its not just about the money.

Truth be told, I've had a lot of good dealings with many board members here.

Default I too know the feeling

Paul has gifted me a card, just because he knew it would fit my collection and wanted to help. Branden recently sent me two, even though I've found only one for the trade, but he wanted me to have both to help rebuild the collection.

Afraid I've never been able to help anyone out like that, since my collection is so narrow, but I really do appreciate all the acts of kindness that members of this board have shown, not just to me, but to other collectors. It's nice to know that we all look out for one another.

Someone asked recently where Steve (Jacklitsch) was. I really enjoyed discussing esoteric stuff with him - one of the most knowledgeable guys on the forum.

He once purchased (or traded - I can't remember) a vintage item from me, then sent me (for free) a beautiful T206 Waddell portrait because he knew I was building a HOF portrait collection.
