This group of photos originate from the personal scrapbook of Chicago Cubs pitcher Orval Overall and date probably from the late 1910s to the 1920s. Overall was from California as was Frank Chance and there are several photos of Chance visiting Overall that were in the scrapbook. Chance died in 1924

3 Scrapbook with a total of 5 sides with pictures -

1 page on one side has a picture of Orval holding his dog, a newspaper clipping picture of him in a Cubs uniform and a picture of him standing in a field. On the opposite side 2 pictures of him at his house, a picture of fruit trees and a picture of his wife

1 page on one side has a newspaper clipping mentioning he was a Cubs player and picture of his wife peaking out of a fruit tree. The other side has a picture of him and his wife, a unknown man holding two ducks and him with his dog.

1 page has a picture of him leaning on his golf club and also swinging a golf club. At the bottom of this picture it says Orval 1927. This picture must be a little later than the ones with Chance in them since Chance died in 1924. The other picture on this page his him with 2 unknown individuals
