Default T206 Collage in Old Photo

Hey Net 54'ers -

A couple of years ago I remember seeing a thread about old photos with cards in the backgound. Those pictures stuck with me for some reason and when I found this one going through some photos recently I thought that it would be neat to add it to the "collection" of this type of image. If anyone can dig out those other photos to add to this I would appreciate it. This one is Harry Carey and Gabby Street in the WIL St. Louis studios during the late 1940's. The interesting part is the collage in the background - check it out!

Regards

Chris

Nice find. Wonder if there are any rare backs amongst that group.... Have to add 'Holy Cow'.

Default I'm no expert, but do have a question

Most of the cards I recognize as t206s. All of them, except the one just above the larger print, just off the guys ear. That is not one of the six horizontals in the set. What or who is that card?

It's constructed like a mosaic...Colgan's Chips were used to fill in the smaller blank spaces. Nice piece of folk art.

Wonder if that cobb portrait on the right is green or red.. Either way it's a beautiful display.

Default Darn that Harry with his head full of hair

Great photo, but too bad Harry wasn't a foot and half shorter.

It is always fun to wonder if any of these cards made it into our collections.

It would be so sweet to still find that collage still intact to be able to link it to the photo. Great find!
