I still have a 1912 T207 of "Buck" Weaver for sale if anyone is interested. It has been graded SGC 40 VG, but the card looks to be EX-EXMT. The only flaw being a very small "wrinkle" on the front of the card. The "wrinkle" is only noticable on the card front due to T207's glossy/lacquer finish. I am asking $1,000.00 but if you have any circa 1906-10 Chicago Cubs stuff, then a trade is possible.

Had some Old Judge's and others graded by GAI at the Sun Times show and thought I would offer them here before I decided what else to do with them

N172
JOHN WARD Horizontal, slight angle cut, strong image GAI 2 $550
BUCK EWING Horizontal, VG+ condition but a touch of a light photo, undergraded at a GAI 2 $600
TOMMY MCCARTHEY strong image, creased GAI 2 $550
CLARK GRIFFITH, complete card with a few dents and some paper on back, GAI 1 but is presentable and very rare in any grade $500
HUGH DUFFY, I am probably going to break this card out of the holder because it is misgraded, it is a strong VGEX card with no creases but because it has the Pink Tint to it they thought it was stained or washed out. Clean VGEX, but currently in a GAI 2 holder for authenticity $700

N300 Mayo
Tommy McCarthey GAI 2, $675

Colgans Chip graded example (GAI 1.5, looks better) with rare extra line of text on the bottom reading "208 in present series" Graded for authenticity only $200

M116 Hugh Duffy, pretty rare hall of famer from my experience. VG+ or better $175

(2) Ungraded N172 cards which I think are probably rebacked but real, Willis (NM) $150 and Andrews (EX+) $100.

1929 Dated Rogers Hornsby single signed ONL game ball.

Can't think of anything else right now. E -mail me if you want to make an offer or get a scan.

Rhys (prewarsports)

Hello all,

I managed to finally finish my low grade e90-2 set. My high priority now is to finish up on e90-3. I still need in preferably low grade condition:

Chance
Evers
Walsh
Cole
Payne
Blackbourne
Steinfeldt

I'd also be really interested in acquiring ANY e107 Hall of Famer that anyone would be willing to sell or trade. I don't care how bad the condition is. I'd even be interested in hearing about non-HOFers from this set. Cards I have to trade can be seen on my site at http://www.geocities.com/redmaccie.

Thanks guys!

NEEDS:

N2 Agate Arrow Point, Chief Gall, Lean Wolf, Mad Bear, Red Thunder, Sitting Bull, White Swan, Wetennie

N28 Ward (EX or better)

N29 Ewing, F Murphy (any gradebale condition)

T3s and T9s in EX or better

T222s (only have 9)

Tobacco advertising banners that picture card sets

HAVES:

T204 Sheckard SGC 20. $100

2 N2 SGC graded Indians. One is Rushing Bear, can't think of the other off hand, but ones a 20, ones a 30. I'll price them according to grade + shipping, $20 and $30. Email if interested in purchasing or scans.

1890s Duke Advertising banner for Pin Head Cigarettes (professionally restored, linen backed, ready for framing). Pictures an inviting female holding a pack. Have never seen another one of these. $500

A 19th century large Duke Cabinet counter card (trimmed, but still very presentable, pictures one of the actress cards in large format, measures about 8 X 13" if memory serves me right). $125

Several lower SGC graded (40s and 50s) N28, N29, N184 non baseball. If anyones interested, I can send scans. Have around 8-10 or so. Priced in direct relation to how bad someone wants it .

Still have the remnants of my N43s including 1 SGC 80 and 2 70s. These are all non baseball, but Allen & Ginter's rarest of the World Champion issues. All are SGC graded, I have around 7 or 8. We can always talk about these, trade or outright.

A 1960 hardback American Card Catalog with dust jacket. I think there may be some minor writing in it, but a valuable resource for those who not only collect the baseball and boxing sets, but invaluable for those who are thinking about branching out into the non sports collecting world. These are getting harder and harder to find, especially when you want one. $150.

Feel free to email, happy collecting all, Keith

Am an active buyer of (what I think) quality photographs of celebrities or otherwise notables from circa 1900 to today. Will potentially buy in most genres (baseball to Nobel Prize winners) and types, with special emphasis on the unique or close to, famous photographers, the wonderful and the fashion industry.

Thanks

I would be willing to except all email offers on a recently graded 1915 PSA 4 M101-5 Sporting News Babe Ruth. It is SO MUCH nicer than the PSA 4 that recently sold on ebay for over $14,300. Very creamy white borders, 55/45 centering both ways (rare), and very clean creamy reverse blank back. I can email crisp scans of both sides for serious inquiries.

I am selling/trading my entire Old Judge collection, which amounts to a whopping one card!

I have a John Seery card (scans available)that appears to have been trimmed.

If you're at all interested, please let me know.

I am looking for all Deacon Phillippe baseball cards and collectables in any condition. These are for private familly collections and not for resale. He was my great grandfather and I am putting together scrapbooks for my Mother and Uncle as Christmas presents.

I am particularly interested in the following for my own private collection...

1906 Fan Craze National League

1909 Hassan Triple Folders (T202) Card 52
1910 American Caramel (E91-C) Card 23
1910 Tip Top Bread (D322) Card 12
1911 M116 Sporting Life Card 212

I'm glad the 3 of you who bought Colgans from me are happy with them--some of the same and another want LONG lists--and I'm not sure I want to break up the whole set yet. Patience, and thank you.
