Default Yogi Berra Medal of Freedom

Just wanted to let the Net 54 members know that a petition is up on the Major League Baseball website to award Yogi Berra the Presidential Medal of Freedom. This petition must get 100,000 signatures by June 8, 2015 for the motion to move to the next step. I personally voted for him and think he deserves it.

I think he deserves it. Cool thing and it took me less than 1 minute on my first try . I suggest members consider not checking the box to get lot's of gov't emails. But that is to each their own...just a heads up because it looks like a box you would normally check in order to vote, but that isn't the case. If you want the emails, check that box, it's America!!

Yogi is well known internationally, in particular in Britain, due to his Yogi-isms. I've said that the two best sources for quotes are Oscar Wilde and Yogi Berra.

Oscar Wilde: "Bigamy is being married to one too many women. Same with monogamy."
