Default The Smooch of Champions

A true Tigers fan should enjoy this collection.

Cochrane, Goslin and Bridges sharing a tender moment after winning the first championship for Detroit in 1935. The Goose smacked a walk-off single, scoring Cochrane and giving Tommy Bridges a complete game victory. The stubs are the three games played in Detroit.

Game 1: Tigers get shutout 3-0
Game 2: Tigers win 8-3 but lose Greenberg for the rest of the series with a broken wrist
Game 6: After taking two out of three in Chicago, the Tigers return home to lock down the championship with the 4-3 triumph!

They are nice, colorful stubs. I like how a World Series bleacher ticket cost $1.10. I got that one on ebay last year for around $120, which I think was a pretty good price considering it was the cheapest of my three and the highest graded of the trio at PSA 5. It was listed as "1935 Word Series Ticket". I think the missing letter saved me a few dollars.
