Default Red Sox 1909 Paul Howard

My grandfather played for the Boston Red Sox in 1909. Does anybody have a card or picture of him or of the whole team?

Thanks,

If you check baseball-reference, there was also a Del Howard on the 1909 Chicago Cubs, and it was not the same player.

Thanks.......I think the "Del" nickname is wrong. I remember my father telling me that his nickname was Pauly or maybe it was spelled Polly. I know my dad had a really great picture of him in his Boston uniform. It was definitely a professional shot......black and white....around 5"x7". It looked like it could have been a shot that might appear on a card. Sadly the framed picture is among the missing. Nobody in the family can find.

Steve

George 'Del' Howard played for a number of years Pre-1910, including 1906-7 for the Red Sox.

Paul (sometimes listed/nicknamed as 'Del') Howard, the initial poster's grandfather, played for a handful of games for the 1909 Red Sox.

So here is that tintype of several 1903 Cubs (Jones, Moriarty, Lowe and Lundgen) sitting with 'Del' Howard in the lower left corner. Which Del is it?

It is George Del, not Paul, on both the tintype and the T206 card.

My database doesn't show any cards for Paul Howard. The only Howard I show is George "Del" and Ivon. Sorry, no Paul.

Does anyone know where 1909 Red Sox Paul Howard played in the minors? Someone then may at least have a minor league photo of him or his team, or, hope beating eternal, a minor league card.

Max, no minor league card. My database includes those too. Of the 2384 cards in the player set I am working on, 843 have only one card, most of them in either the Zeenut and Old Mill sets.
